my dear cheeleng hv posted so many entries WHEN SHE IS SUPPOSED TO BE MUGGING HER ASS OFF!! no wonder she can't slp on time n can't wake up on time n hv to make darren n me wait everytime we go studying!!!!! hmpf!

ok lah, she gave me a public apology so i shall be nice.. wahahaha! studying at woodlands lib sure is diff frm tamp coz their lib is so so so posh! with fountains n individual multimedia rooms! unlike tamp which juz seems so communal.. zzz..

as usual, studying with the dearies means alot of crapping, alot of suaning ngiap ngiap, alot of reading cleo, alot of walking around n alot of eating.

anyway, aft finishing a couple of chpts n reading the latest issue of cleo, it was time for junhong to book out frm the land of ah bing ge ge.. had dinner n played arcade AGAIN!! haha.. i love daytona n i love love jurassic park. i love love love screaming while shooting dinosaurs more than i enjoy flipping my car around n emerging last. wahhhhhhhh!

anyway, the bus back frm woodlands was surprisingly fast despite me sulking for most part of the journey. lalalala~

hmm.. tt was fri n so fast, today is mon n i juz finished my 3rd paper leaving juz one more!! gosh, i'm turning old!! one wrd summary for fmkt: sucky. =(



i left the exam hall early coz there was no pt checking through a paper i didn't understand in the first place.. met the mother for lunch at a really cheap n gd place - golden shoe complex - near her office.



right smack in the middle of shenton way is a hawker centre tt sells food for $2.50! even my sch foodcourt charges more than tis lah!!!



if for a moment u equate cheap food with poor quality, tis vietnam cuisine is surprisingly gd. n get tis straight, prawn springs rolls cost $1 n pure mango juice is $1.60!!!!! i haven seen such prices since pri sch can?!

time passed really fast n soon, mommy's lunch break was over n before she left, she said: "love, go look for some clothes n charge it to the card."

omg omg omg!!! 1) i juz got a supplementary credit card - its the "with love" version tt is so so so pretty. 2) i juz got permission to spend on credit! 3) less than 15 mins later, i was on the mrt headed to orchard. 4) first stop in orchard, i got my black shorts!

i love shopping. i love it more than anything else in the world, figuratively speaking lah! hehehe. for tt moment in time, i forgot i screwed a paper. i forgot abt my cramps. i forgot i had to yell at the ntuc staff for not replying my email. i forgot my papers had not ended. i forgot all the trival things in life n focussed on clothes, clothes n more clothes.

haiz.. i better earn so goddamn much money in future. either tt or i better discover i'm in some way related to bill gates n hv a trust fund awaiting me.. =(

now trying to revive my dead braincells.. somehow calculations n me dun really click n ff really sapped all the mental energy there was in me. *sobs* made a couple of really careless mistakes but sheer luck n pure tyco-ness allowed me to randomly put figures tgt n actually came up with the correct formula. kinda can't believe how things turned out esp since tt qn was a 25 mrk qn. so i guess i shldn't fail lah.. *prays* n blaw was on the whole less scary than i imagined it to be. yups yups! =)

2 papers down, 2 more to go!! n since i hv some breathing space before the nxt paper, lets clear the cobwebs on tis blog..

dating back to daddy's last day in s'pore.. we celebrated with a do-it-yourself popiah party at hm! it was uber fun as we competed who cld squeeze the most fillings into our popiah w/o tearing its thin skin. =)



my popiah was purely eggs n peanut coz i'm not exactly a fan of veggies. hee..



trix custom-made a calendar with our photos as a parting gift to him n we all got to sign it!! WE'LL MISS YOU DADDY!! =(

as the night dragged on, we piled into the car n headed for punggol nasi lemak - coz they only open in the evenings till the wee hrs of the morn. i still tink changi village nasi lemak is better only tis is chinese style lah..



anyway, exams prep is gonna make me so so so fat. coz i hv lovely ppl all around me to feed me with even lovelier tidbits. whee~

trixie: where will anyone find a mei mei like her who puts hershley kisses with encouraging origami bunnies on ur table late at night when ur fast asleep?! thanks mei.. its my fav cookies n cream flavour somemore. ^^

junhong: another sweet sweet surprise!!! fancy gem biscuits (the tradditional, frm metal tin sort leh! somehow the khong guan variety juz doesn't taste the same. =P) n hidden malaysian kit kat bars in my notes for me to find. happy happy! other than xq who bought me one whole big pkt of malaysian kit kats, i tink no one else is aware of my strange fetish ba? lol.

darren: 200 cadbury pieces!! tis is ultimate man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =P



n when the study blues hit pretty bad, my little bro accompanies me to the marine parade pet shop to look at adorable bunnies! *feeling warm n fuzzy inside*



n of course there is gd old gerald to take me out for supper at the famous blk 85 bedok market n not to mention genki sushi, famous amos n lots of arcade games! thanks for the de-stress. =)

mugging out with darren, cheeleng n liying at changi airport's coffee bean made studying so much more entertaining.. though my signature LARGE hot chocolate kinda defeated the purpose of my "no-meat, low-carbo" diet. it was more worth it ma.. *sulks*



tis is the new terminal 3 with the mega shopping mall n "eco-walls".. all the glass panels remind me of dover mrt stn though...



see the formation of all the trolleys??? tis juz proves how empty tis place is.. oh ya, my flight to china is highly likely to be frm tis terminal. COOOOOL!!!!



n bcoz i'm such a bo liao nice fren, i spent a couple of days shuttling between tamp n NUH to accompany junhong for his doc appts. the poor boy had to hv a minor surgery AGAIN! *ouch* btw, the waiting area is kinda quiet which makes it rather conducive for studying.. n tts a paper cone cum party hat cum drinking cup on my head. =P



on one of the occassions, i studied at the club n he watched me until he promptly fell asleep. tis is how boring blaw is!!!! u dun even hv to read it to fall asleep! haiz.. but the food was gd, although my spring chicken was the size of a pigeon. =(



mayb it wasn't the right moment to go enjoy.. but exam studying is a strain sometimes. me n my excuses! *rolls eyes*



i spoiled my diet once again with suki sushi buffet n they gave us the same booth seats we sat in on our 6th mth anniversary a long long time ago.. talk abt coincidence. oh wells, i had free flow salmon sashimi until i was seriously quite sick of it. lalalala~



at night he treated me to cheese fries at cineleisure's maestro bistro while we waited for our dvd room at e2max - "who slept with her?" is a stupid but funny show. hmm, frm the pic, i hv more creativity than him.. the singapore idol wannabe refused to let go of the chilli sauce bottle throughout!! wahahaha! =P

n for the first time, i cabbed hm with the outrageous midnight fee hikes! but everything was sponsored by the boy. so nice of him hur? hehehe.. see, i do give credit wor!

but i tink we were sorta mean.. there was a long queue of taxis n we didn't board the first one in line.. instead, we walked right down to the middle n took a mercedes cab. 40 cents diff only ma, might as well travel in style. wahahahaha!

on a random note, tis is the funny binoculars thingy on the mrt train.. the train stop in the middle of the track just before a damn crowded bedok to wait for me to finish taking the perfect photo leh! =X

in a way i'm sorta wasting my life away n though i can be all gung-ho n say i'm happy with every little bit i get now, i'm really fearful tt one day aft i hv aged n all, i wld be horrifed at how i foolishly threw my youth away.

my conclusion, i really did love someone. for longer than i had ever loved another.

26th dec 2007: boxing day



being stupid, i took a walk frm raffles place to cityhall via esplanade to meet cheeleng n gang.. it was a wrong wrong decision bcoz everything frm the floating wish balls to the hanging windchimes reminded me of the 2007 countdown which seems like juz yesterday. =(

met up with the darlings at cityhall before proceeding to collect our pay cheques for sitex at funan. my pay wasn't as fabulous as wat the others got but for 3 short days of labour, it was still pretty satisfactory. shopping sprees at last!! =)



aft getting our pockets pumped up, darren n i left to meet liying n xinfei for ice-skating at the new kallang leisure park. tis is us in the really cool sports-themed foodcourt there! anyway, the ice-skating here is v overpriced so we ended up going to the cathay to watch alvin n the chipmunks instead. cute cute cute!! =D

oh yeah, on a random note, the parents hv decided to sell the 2 cars n get juz 1 new one since daddy hv a long-term job posting in dubai..



bye bye odyssey.. i bet the new car wun hv a tv like tis one did. =(

her food hamper i prepared coz my dear sis is the world's greatest food fan. =P guess wat clever me used for the blue wrapper?? a cut-up PONCHO!!! haha.. creative hur?

the first activity today aft a heavy bedok breakfast is cycling n picnic at east coast park!!! healthy lifestyle!



look at her disappointed face???! she tried to hide it behind a smile but its sooo evident she wasn't too thrilled by my, "u shld be on diet so we're only giving u a towel cake" excuse. heeee.



lunch was my fav xiao long baos (minced pork dumplings), dim sum n la mian (noodles) at din tai fung at tamp mall.. yummy yummy! ^^



she's the vip for today so she gets to ride in front with mommy..

the bdae girl chose to hv jap food for dinner.. not tt i'm complaining coz rakuichi serves the best sashimi n its not even half as pricey as those not-so-fresh ones frm raffles hotel.

i love my new boots alot alot!! >.<

eating tgt with the family is always a nice feeling.. with busy schedules we barely even hv dinner with each other any more.. thankfully, alot of siblings means alot of bdae dinners. yay yay yay!

28th dec 2007: shop, shop, shop

like me, alisa has juz gotten her pay cheque too! somemore with the festive atmosphere still hanging in the air, the whole family hit orchard rd contributing excessively to sg's economy. haha.. we bought so much clothes n stuff like tamagotchis tt the car boot nearly couldn't close! n for once, all of us were fighting to pay for stuff mommy n daddy liked. hehe.. feels gd to be financially independent, however short-lived it may be. =P



at night, we checked into a hotel. yups yups! mommy booked 2 rms at sheraton towers so we cld unwind aft shopping as going hm aft such an eventful day is sorta anti-climax. =P

ahhhh! call tis tai-tai training for my future. wahahaha! 0_o''



the food was totally diet-unfriendly too. stupid temptations!! *sobs*


31st dec 2007: last day of 2007

as everyone busied themselves with new yr resolutions or teary recounts of the past yr, i was out with my beloved spse peeps.



it took awhile to get everyone gathered at tamp n we proceeded to nihon mura at tampines stadium.. i had nv eaten here before n their way of ordering sure is unique. as in, we had to walk around the restaurant, pick up ice-cream sticks which state various dishes, put them in a basket with our table no. n hand the order to the cashier. interactive ma..

aft dinner, we headed in gerald's car to downtown east.. see the bubbles? liying n me ran around popping them n i won alot of little kids coz i cld simply reach higher than they cld. na nanny poo poo~

inside the tents, the first thing tt caught my eye r these tied up bunches of balloons.. i suppose they r supposed to fall at midnight aft the countdown.



bcoz we were kiasu, we managed to secure front-row seats where we played card games n cam-whored to self-entertain..



personally, i found the performances by scarlet city rather getai-ish.. with gawdy costumes n less than there vocals. but i suppose it was enough to satisfy the crowd tt was mainly made up of families n old folks.



the boredom got sorta unbearable towards 9pm so we left to play pool at safra tamp n was joined by richard. i played my first game of snooker n in one of the many pool games we played, i sinked the winning 8 ball! haha.. once only but let me brag a little ma. afterall, i'm really only tt teensy weeny bit better than darren the dou miao ma. lolx.



aft the guys was nice enough to treat liying n me to all our games of pool - not forgetting santo's fries n darren's nuggets - richard paid for our drinks at saffron. haha. being a girl rocks lor! i noe darren will be tempted to change sex now. keke.



i heard of iced lemon tea. but iced lime tea??

5th jan 2007: happy birthday darren mei mei

cheeleng call him darren jie jie so i shld call him mei mei rite? hehe. anyway, xueqin, serkee n junhong celebrated his bdae with a treasure hunt at east coast park while i was pampering my hair n basically my whole body. lol.

i dunno wat happened with them but i do noe tt while they r getting wet in the rain, i was getting a head massage, a new hair colour, lots n lots of new tops, a couple of new underwear n a much lighter wallet. wahhhhhhhhh, i need a sugar daddy! =(



aft finally meeting up with them at bedok, we left for fishermen's wharf at clarke quay. the food was gd n the company was obviously great! it was fun teasing junhong abt his bandage though.. haha. the poor boy juz went for a minor surgery so i shall be nice n not elaborate. GET WELL SOON!!!!
